HISTORY OF THE MA/MA2/MFW

The Mysterious Freedom Warriors were created in September 2008. Back then, they were known as the “Mysterious Army”. In fact, they were to be called “Moose Warriors”, but Miroos changed the name a few hours after creating the army. The original site of the MA is the one that used to be used for MA2 and MFW, located here. The Mysterious Army were a relatively small army and were extremely close to another army of a similar size – the United Servers of Club Penguin. Plus, the leaders of each army (Miroos and Nate95000) were best friends. The MA and the USCP were the founding members of a minor alliance – the MCPIF (Minor Club Penguin Imperial Forces).

In early 2009, one of the Mysterious Army’s owners, 123nic26, had his WordPress account hacked by the likes of Escargo. Escargo destroyed the website of the Mysterious Army, but luckily he didn’t manage to delete it. What happened was Escargo, who was on the site, decided to vandalize the site. He was removed, and then he went into Nic’s account and did the same thing again. A month later, in February 2009, the MA was back – this time using USCP’s site. In March 2009, Escargo apologized for hacking the Mysterious Army’s site twice, and his apology was accepted.

Sometime in May 2009, the Mysterious Army returned – however with a different name. The MA was now the Mysterious Army Revolution, or the MA2. The MA2 only lasted for 3 months, and it wasn’t a very successful army. On the 14th of August, the MA2 declared that they required a merge in order to survive. The leaders of the Freedom Warriors noticed this, and within a week the two armies had merged, creating the Mysterious Freedom Warriors. At about the same time, the Club Penguin Secret Service merged with a group of other armies to create the Golden Troops. Unlike the Golden Troops, the MFW fell and later on disbanded. On the 22nd of July, 2010, the MFW returned, this time being led by Miroos, Donut67890 and Panthers Bas. Finally, the MFW came to be a successful army, reaching number 10 in the Top 10 only 2 months after returning.

On the 20th of October, Miroos retired from the MFW – in order to create an army with his then BFF, Sky1700 – the Fire Angels, which were a failure. Rapid678 was the new leader of the MFW. Only 11 days later, Miroos returned, and a poll was created to find out whether the MFW wanted him back in. The majority voted yes, but Miroos could not reach an agreement with the other owners about the ranks, and so MFW was shut down. This coincidentally happened on Halloween of 2011. Miroos made everybody else on the site a contributor, which proved to be a bad move because his WordPress account was soon suspended, and the only way he could post on the site was by email.

On the 6th of May, 2011, Miroos and Gjhdhgfgkutf decided to once again restart the MFW. This time, for the first time in their entire history, they would be using a self-hosted blog, with a domain and CSS. This was an even larger failure; they didn’t manage to recruit a single troop. This was because it was not advertised well and people did not know that the MFW returned. Gjhdhgfgkutf then forgot to renew the domain, and the website was shut down. However it can still be renewed by him any time he wants to renew it, which is good news.

Approximately a year after Miroos, Donut and Panthers Bas restarted the MFW, the MFW were restarted again. This time by Miroos himself, who then offered Gjhdhgfgkutf a leader position. That happened on the 27th of July of 2011.

Then, after a long period of success. MFW, faced death again. No troops on chats at all. So, Miroos and Nic posted an election. You had to comment if you wanted to be an MFW leader. Icey Cold 27 from ACP got the position as leader. But he was never active. So Miroos said to MFW 2ic Daleboxtel he could lead MFW. And here we are today!
